Originally forged for high-tech applications like MRI machinery and particle accelerators, superconductor composites are made up of fine niobium-titanium (NbTi) filaments embedded within a solid copper matrix.
When etched by our master craftspeople, the surrounding pure copper recedes slightly, exposing a striking, geometric pattern of dark titanium filaments. No two rings reveal the exact same cellular layout, making every single piece a genuine one-of-a-kind.
